1967 was the last, and only, time the city of San Francisco has hosted the NBA All Star Game. Since then, the culture, image, and design of the sports world has shifted in many different directions. As an avid basketball fan and SF native, I took this opportunity to explore my take on branding this event for my hometown. From the custom typography to the court design, I took what would take a large team of designers to make, into a solo 3-month senior project for my final year at CalArts.
